An Ilkeston schoolgirl has just competed in the Nottinghamshire ASA County Swimming Championships and won 12 gold medals.
Isabella Parsons-Loades, aged 11 years, entered 13 events and only failed to win one of them, finishing second.
She was also part of two relay teams which won.
Isabella’s mum Samantha-Jayne and dad Steve are thrilled with her performance. No wonder Steve says: “She was born to swim.”
Isabella goes to Trowell C of E Junior School and trains six days a week.
