Residents of Oliver House Nursing Home were treated to a trip out to see the local Christmas lights.
Erewash Transport Driver Andy took them along many decorated streets and on to Morley Hayes where the light show was especially pretty.
Then there was carol singing led by volunteers Denise and Paula.
“It was a night to remember,” said Carolina Lawson, Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator.
The residents’ faces had lit up seeing the displays as, hopefully, their own Christmas memories came back to them.
