The Cubs from 1st Sitwell cub pack visited Bramble Lodge Residential & Dementia Care Home in West Hallam this week.
Well done all the Cubs, they sang campfire songs and then went round the residents to say hello and ask them what they wanted for Christmas.
The Scout group was gifted £250 by Lubrizol Ltd recently and put it towards a new tent. Some members of the Beaver section are pictured with it.
Ian Britton of the group said they were extremely grateful to the Lubrizol Corporation for their donation and Tim Hollingshurst for nominating them for the award. They are looking forward to using it.
Older members of the group – the Ignis Explorers – will be taking part in the Derbyshire Scouts Chilly Challenge in January – spending a night under canvas despite expected very cold weather.
