1st Sitwell Scouts and Ignis Explorers have been collecting toys over the last few weeks for distribution by Children First Derby who support young people and families in the Derby area.
Yesterday they were picked up by the non-profit organisation which was started by a Derby resident after reading about the death of a neglected child.
They want unwrapped toys for any age up to 18years but the majority of the children they work with are 10 to 16 years old.
