POPPY’S PRIZE Last year Poppy Charleton won a competition at Erewash Museum to design a mug for the new king. Now she has just received her mug from Sharpes Pottery, Swadlincote.
Poppy’s grandma, Sandra Hanrahan, said Poppy (8) was presented with her mug today. One was also given to the museum and to King Charles. Poppy is the daughter of Donna Reeve and Matthew Peters and goes to Chaucer Junior School. She enjoys art and designing things.
