Sleep-out volunteers sought

The Canaan Trust, based in Long Eaton is looking for volunteers to take part in a sleep-out.
Organisers want participants to find sponsors to enable them to raise money to help with their work of helping people in desperation.
In the past year the Trust has
• supported 92 females and families in need,
• aided 21 cases facing a Section 21 Eviction Notice,
• helped 36 families deal with historic debt,
• provided food aid 4.160 times,
• operated 24/7, 365 days a year for anyone in need.
The sleep-out will take place in the Market Place, Long Eaton on Friday 5th April 2024.
