Last summer, as part of Ilkeston week-long Festival, Andrea Cochrane presented an organ recital at Ilkeston URC (Green Spire church), which was very well received. Lots of people came and enjoyed it, not to mention the tea, coffee and home made cakes as well.
Organisers are now planning to make it a regular feature of Ilkeston life, once a month on Thursday afternoons. “We’ll start at 2.30, relax to the music, enjoy cake and a chat, and finish off by 4 pm with some more music.”
The first one is planned for Thursday 18th January.
