Basford United v Ilkeston Town.
Updates from Greenwich Avenue football ground from 3pm.
It should be quite a match! Ilkeston will be hoping to end a run of five defeats at bottom of the table Basford, but Basford too will see this as a winnable match against on-the-slide Ilkeston.
Basford is not far away and Ilkeston will be taking a good number of supporters with them. Ex-Ilkeston favourites Remaye Campbell and Jack Thomas are expected to be in the Basford team. Ilkeston have made new signings this week including former player Zak Goodson who should add some zip to the forward line.

The ground is filling up as we approach kick-off. A lot more than Basford’s usual two or three hundred.
And we’re underway.
Ex-Ilkeston players Remaye Campbell and Jack Thomas have both gone close for Basford in the first five minutes! Then a header is a whisker away. Whirlwind start by the team who haven’t won a match yet.
First promising Ilkeston attack sees keeper Preston save well as a header from a corner is on target.
Ilkeston players Dixon and Waite have been told off by the ref for complaining about decisions. Now Walker is ticked off as well.
Waite breaks through but is foiled by Preston.
From the corner two Ilkeston players appear to be brought down – nothing given.
Chance for Dixon but Preston makes a point blank save.
Then it’s Matt Yates’ chance to shine moving fast to beat Dyer to the ball.
There’s goalmouth action at both ends as the teams try for a first half lead. Decent effort by Luke Cox who gets his head to a cross but the ball goes wide. Yates then saves from winger Wakefield.
Half time: Basford 0 Ilkeston 0
[Derby 0 Portsmouth 0]
Off we go again at Basford.
Dixon gets an early yellow card for questioning a decision. This ref is very severe with anyone who challenges his authority.
Ilkeston fans are annoyed as Zak Goodson is flattened but ref waves play on.
Hallam is replaced by Brandy on 55 mins.
Ilkeston are getting on top and Preston has to race out of his goal to clear.
GOAL for Ilkeston. 62 mins. 1-0. And it’s Zak Goodson the scorer.
Another Ilkeston substitution: Waite is replaced by Keane. Basford’s Charlie Wakefield sees his shot go over the bar.
Then there’s a chance for teammate Thornhill but he mis-controls. Thomas’s shot is deflected over as Ilkeston counter.
Basford have a good spell. But Ilkeston are playing with more confidence. They carve out a good chance and Basford are lucky to see the ball roll across their goal to safety.
[Derby 1 Portsmouth 0, Collins, pen, 86 mins]
Big effort by Basford to try a salvage something.
They throw caution to the wind and throw everyone forward.
A Basford player is booked after bringing Dixon down.
Then they appeal for a penalty. No says the ref.
Yates does well to collect under pressure.
Wilder comes on for Eratt-Thompson.
Ilkeston are struggling to get the ball away. It keeps coming back.
We’re deep into added time.
Ilkeston survive a big scramble.
It’s full time. Ilkeston have halted their losing run.
Basford 0 Ilkeston 1.
