Death of Pat Scattergood

A former Sandiacre shopkeeper who ended her days living at Oliver House Nursing Home in Kirk Hallam has passed away.
Pat Scattergood died at the age of 86 on 15th July.
She ran a corner shop at the top of Town Street and Lenton Street for over 25 years.
Her husband, Alf passed away in 1989.
Pat was a very keen gardener and had an allotment for over 40 years.
She had two daughters Sheila and Jane and a son Simon, also 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Pat moved to Oliver House at the beginning of March this year. She had lived in Sandiacre for 57 years.
A funeral service will be held at Bramcote crematorium on Thursday 3rd August at 10am. The wake will be held at The Blue Bell, Church Street, Sandiacre, for refreshments to celebrate Pat’s life immediately after the service. Family flowers only are requested.
There will be a collection on the day for the residents entertainment fund at Oliver House care home where Pat was cared for in her final months.
