Wow it was a warm day!! But we did it 
1st Sitwell took part in the Ripley and Heanor district Cub section family walk around Carsington reservoir.
Big thanks to the families who assisted – pictured are of some of the people who did the event from 1st Sitwell (Horsley Woodhouse).
As you know we are raising funds for a Defibrillator to be fitted on the outside of the Scout hut.
Also pictured: Big thanks to Dave (a district leader from Ripley and Heanor district scouts) for visiting the Ignis Explorer section at 1st Sitwell HQ to hand out a gold award to CJ, who has just moved on to the Ignis explorer unit. Well done CJ! This award is the highest award that a Scout can gain.
