We had a fantastic day with our ‘Paint it Yellow’ baton. The members of staff joined in with the fundraising by wearing their t-shirts. There are a few photos included in the link of them. We had a tombola in store and raised a whopping £540.90 all thanks to our wonderful customers donating. The Ilkeston Branch of the Royal British Legion volunteered to give me a hand with the fundraising and also dressed as the male gnome to my female one. We got a few waves whilst we stood on ‘Gnome Island’ to have our photo taken!
We will be continuing to fundraise for the ‘Paint it Yellow’ campaign during the rest of August so will let you know the final total once we have it.
