LOCAL people across Erewash are being encouraged to take a council survey – so they can tell the town hall what it is doing right and what needs to be improved.

The online questionnaire aims to boost the authority’s mission “to create vibrant and sustainable communities”.

Officials say feedback from the Resident Survey will provide “valuable insight and will assist the borough council to consider improvements to service delivery”.

It will also help the authority with ideas as it formulates plans for the future.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and can be found on the council’s website here: EBC Resident Survey | Let’s Talk Erewash

It is open until 11.59pm on Sunday 11 January.

Erewash’s leader Cllr James Dawson said: “Any member of an Erewash household can take part if they are 16 or older.

“We are really keen to hear about people’s perception of the area they live in. Every voice counts – which is why we hope to hear from a broad spectrum of those living here.”
