I am reaching out because as some of you know myself and some of our community are heading out on a group bike ride fundraiser later this month. 20 of us will be participating and the ride will see us cycle 618 kilometers around England and Wales, taking in other well-known bridges to raise money for a footbridge underneath Bennerley Viaduct to resolve accessibility issues.
Our appeal will begin at the Cotmanhay ramp side of Bennerley Viaduct on Sunday 21st September at approximately 9:15am with a return to the same spot at Bennerley on Friday 26th at approximately 2pm.
We would love if you could join us for either the start or finish event.
I will be live on air from Erewash Sound on the breakfast show on the morning of September 19th to promote our cause. You will be able to follow our journey via FoBV’s social media channels.
