All are welcome to join Derbyshire Library Service at a Community Collaboration morning to reflect on the 80th anniversary of VE Day, and what freedom means to us now. This will be an informal and open discussion.
How might we approach an artistic response to this theme? One that inspires others to join in. That is created by you, with the support of local artists. Based on our conversations, an artist will be engaged to develop ideas for creative community events that will take place this autumn. Events that are uniquely Ilkeston, but which will be celebrated as part of a national project.
This fully funded project is to be steered by local people. If you’re unable to make this session, please let us know if you’d like to be informed of any future sessions or to contribute your thoughts in a different way!
