A group of students from Ilkeston Ormiston Enterprise Academy are enjoying a trip to London.
They began with a morning visit to Parliament, exploring both the House of Commons and House of Lords.
With the French President Emmanuel Macron in town for a state visit, high security meant they were unable to meet Erewash MP Adam Thompson as planned but they still enjoyed their time there.
Then there were highs and lows – a ride on the London Eye gave them stunning views of the capital and a visit to the London Dungeons gave them a glimpse of the city’s dark past.
