Dalby House is a treasure trove of local exhibits only a few yards from the Market Place, but it is out of sight and could be missed by the uninformed town visitor.
It is closing for refurbishment.
The work will increase the Museum’s café area and improve reception facilities, helping to enhance heritage features and provide a welcoming space for callers.
The Museum will be closed to the public from Saturday 21st June and refurbishments will go on until mid-July.
