Ilkeston Rutland Cricket Club is celebrating the hundredth year of its pavilion, a familiar sight on the rec.
Event organiser Mark Aldred says: “Please Join us on Sunday 25th May at Ilkeston Rutland CC.
“This is the centennial year of the pavilion and cricket down at Rutland and as such we are having a special celebration day for the occasion.
“Along with a 20/20 match between past and present players, we have an inflatable assault course and penalty shootout for the kids with a fish and chip van, BBQ, bottle bar and ice cream van all in attendance along with live music from cover band The Decoys and others.
We are also announcing the opening/naming of the balcony terrace we had built last year which was supported by grants from Derbyshire Cricket Club and Erewash Council.”
