Former Ilkeston Town footballer Tom Cursons was a substitute for Harrogate tonight in their match against MK Dons.
Cursons was brought on for the final ten minutes and Harrogate equalised to make it 1-1.
But the Dons regained the lead soon after and won the game 2-1.
Cursons was Ilkeston’s leading scorer and a big favourite at the Microlise New Manor Ground. He was sold to League Two side Harrogate Town for an undisclosed fee.
