Past and present leaders of the 21st Ilkeston (Kirk Hallam) Scout Group held a celebration evening to mark their 70th anniversary.
They were joined by a couple of Scouting friends from Holland.
Diane Harris (Group Lead Volunteer) welcomed all, giving everyone the new 70th anniversary badge (designed by a Scout Libby Trueman).
She said it was wonderful to see so many faces from the past and thanked everyone for their efforts through the years.
There were lots of photos displayed showing young members and adults having fun at camps or at the many and various away day activities organised.
“Thanks for delivering a fantastic Scouting experience and skills for life,” Diane said.
Lots of reminiscing was done and many happy memories recaptured on “a lovely evening with good company and excellent food.”
