Robin Hood is coming to Ilkeston

Ilkeston Community Theatre and Festival group – a group dedicated to campaigning for a theatre in Ilkeston where local drama groups, choirs and individuals can perform – are putting on a panto.

They have decided that Robin Hood is coming to town this year. Writers Caroline Greatorex and Michael Rumble have written their second Ilkeston pantomime after the success of last year’s, including Ilkeston references and jokes, for Ilkeston people.

Their appeal for help with actors, artists, carpenters, costume makers, etc., has been heeded and they are looking forward to putting on a great show on Saturday 14th December at the Christchurch Hall, Cotmanhay. There are two performances: 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets are available on the website www.ictaf.org.

ICTAF group are also putting on a Christmas quiz at the Dewdrop Inn, Station Street at 7.15pm on Monday 16th December, £1 per person to enter with teams up to a maximum of 6.
