Residents of Ashmere Derbyshire care homes took time out to visit Ilkeston fair.
The trip brought back childhood memories of not-so-scary rides and simpler amusements that they once enjoyed, like roll-a-penny, mirrors and the snake lady.
They had a go on a few stalls – and even won some prizes.
And they tucked into some traditional fair food – especially enjoying the doughnuts.
