On Tuesday 1st October, the 6th Ilkeston Rainbows did a litter pick around their meeting place at Ilkeston Methodist Church.
They worked hard and didn’t let the rain put them off.
They collected six big bags of rubbish and were rewarded with hot chocolate and cake afterwards.
The girls, aged 4 to 6, enjoyed the challenge which was part of earning a badge.
Erewash Borough Council provided equipment and bags.
