The ‘Illuminate’ exhibition is still on at the Erewash Museum in Ilkeston, until 12th October. Thursday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm.
Come and see the most unusual creations from offcuts of unusable glass, that have been turned into glowing, radiant sculptures like you’ve never seen before.
Local artist Ric Raithby, aka the Illumin Artist, has spent the last 10 years finely honing his skills, chipping glass chunks in the same style as our neolithic ancestors chipped (or knapped) flint to use as tools.
