Sixty young members of 21st Ilkeston Scouts took part in a group camp at Sherbrooke, Calverton.
The weather was good and everyone enjoyed it.
The Beavers and Cubs were inside whilst the Scouts camped out.
The program was very much about mixing the sections, said group leader Diane Harris.
Games included body words, tunnel ball, soft archery, grass sledging and go-carting, with the older ones helping the younger ones. And of course, camp wouldn’t be camp without campfire fun led by Liz.
For some of the participants it was their first camp and first night away from home.
Members of the 21st (Kirk Hallam) group are currently celebrating their 70th year.
