The West Hallam WI created this beautiful well-dressing for the village festival. They chose the 200th anniversary of the R.N.L.I. to honour their friend and former president Bev Wood, whose favourite charity it was.
In all over 15 members of the WI contributed to the making of the picture, masterminded by Jenny Hall and Alison Molineux.
The WI also had a very successful bag stall with great prizes to be won – “Word soon got round and we ran out after making £315.60 for Ben’s Den – our local charity.”
