A vintage double decker will be offering free rides to a live music event in Erewash – which is pulling out all the stops to attract crowds this coming Saturday 20th July.
The Mayor of Erewash will be joining revellers as food charity Every One Eats stages the gala from noon at Ilkeston Rugby Club on Hallam Fields Road. There will be activities for kids plus free picnic boxes. The price of admission is . . . as little as a tin of beans if you can spare it. (In other word: a donation to the food bank.)
The bus will run hourly from 11.45am – setting off from Wharncliffe Road with two stops on Nottingham Road. Mayor Cllr Kate Fennelly said: “It promises to be a fantastic day.”
