Beavers and Cubs from 1st Sitwell had a great time visiting Heanor Fire Station recently.
They learned how to escape a house fire, where fire alarms should be and what the fire engine carries to a fire.
The visit gave them opportunities to explore the station and vehicles close up and enabled them to earn scouting badges.
