Armistice Day service at the Cenotaph, Ilkeston today, 11/11/23.
Quite a large crowd had gathered at the Market Place to honour the local fallen.
A good turn-out of Ilkeston Army Cadets were selling poppies.
Market traders and customers kept a respectful silence as remembrance was observed at 11 o’clock at the playing of The Last Post.
