Coming to your street!
A local man is planning to run on all 644 streets in Ilkeston to raise money for good causes.
Ian Jackson will attempt the run this month. He is planning to do two or three runs a week.
He has set up a fund-raising page for anyone wanting to support him:

Ian’s father Keith Jackson was also a fund-raiser, raising money for the Val Jackson scanner at Ilkeston Community Hospital in the eighties.
Now Ian is attempting to raise cash for the major cancer charity Pancreatic Cancer UK and a local one: The Ben Parker Trust Fund which provides caravan holidays for families where there is a child fighting cancer.
Ian has called his effort ‘Run Ilson’. He says he has planned his first two runs.
The former Cantelupe School student and London Marathon participant added: “My target is £644 , £1 for every street.”
