Youngsters visit Canal Vue care home

This morning myself and Mrs Thorp’s Hive group went to visit the wonderful residents at Canal Vue Care Home We took the Coronation items the children had made for them to enjoy tomorrow for their own celebrations. We had lots of fun playing games and even watching a card trick being performed. It was also fantastic to see 108 year old Donald again too. I don’t know who had more fun, the residents or the children. But one thing I do know is there was lots of enjoyment and smiles, and to me that is everything and what life is about. Thank you so much to Natalie for giving us a tour and looking after us all so well. We cannot wait to visit them again soon. Mrs Wheatley ❤️ #LoveOurCommunity
