Nicola Chambers and Kev Hill raise money for Ben’s Den.

Nicola Chambers and Kev Hill took part in a marathon to raise money for the Ilkeston charity Ben’s Den.
They were among 35,000 runners attempting the 26.2 mile course through the streets of Manchester on 16th April.
All the runners were cheered on by an estimated 100,000 people.
Nicola and Kev were supported by friends, family members and Darren and Tracey Parker of Ben’s Den.
In addition, several cyclists from Ilkeston rode the 140-mile round trip on the day wearing Ben’s Den cycle kit as a surprise.
Kev’s grandson Theo also surprised his grandad with an appearance.
Nicola and Kev raised £3,659.84 for the charity which provides free caravan holidays for families with a sick child.
Ben’s Den was set up in memory of Ben Parker, who sadly passed away aged 13 in 2003 following a battle with leukaemia.
