Ilkeston District Cub Scouts enjoyed a fun morning of 10 Pin Bowling.

Local cub packs took part – 48 youngsters had two games and enjoyed refreshments.
The winners for the second year running were 10th Ilkeston. Runners up were 2nd Ilkeston and in third place 21st Ilkeston.
Isaac Marson from 10th scored the highest individual score over the 2 games, first game 106 and 2nd game 133 – amazing!
Second place went to Keelen Boughen from 2nd and 3rd place to Lola Morrell from 21st.
Staff at the bowling alley were thanked for enabling the competition.
Diane Harris, District Cub Scout Leader, said all the cubs had a fabulous morning. For some it was learning a new sport (part of the Skills Challenge badge) or improving on their skills.
Scouting is open to boys and girls from the age of four (Squirrels just starting up). There is a Scout group just around the corner from your home.
