A scrapbook of memories

Residents and staff of Canal Vue Care Home in Ilkeston have been busy putting together a scrapbook of the past year.
The scrapbook has become a traditional annual project capturing memories and accomplishments.
It captures the ordinary daily life of residents and the special times that come along and create special memories.
Residents are encouraged to recall their favourite moments and experiences such as birthdays, festive occasions and activities they have especially enjoyed.
Nat Summerfield, Activities Coordinator at the home says: “The scrapbook is more than just a collection of memories, it is a testament to the care and dedication of the staff at Canal Vue Care Home. The staff goes above and beyond to create an environment that is warm and welcoming, where residents feel comfortable and cared for.
