Police seeking information about a fight on Ilkeston Rec.

A fight between girls has been filmed and put on social media – prompting an Ilkeston police enquiry.
Officers are trying to trace witnesses to the incident which happened on the Rutland Recreation Ground.
They say it took place after 6pm on Friday March 24 and that investigations are underway.
In a statement, the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault.
“We have been made aware of a video on social media showing a girl being attacked by another girl in Rutland Recreation Ground in Oakwell Drive.
“Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident. We are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help with our enquiries.”
As well as direct witnesses, officers are asking for people to hand over any video footage of the incident, which has the reference number 23*184736.
They say that people can make contact via the force website, on Facebook or Twitter as well as by phoning 101 and asking for Derbyshire police. Anonymous calls can be made to the CrimeStoppers charity on 0800 555 111, which also has a website.
The park is popular with children with many heading there on Friday evenings and at weekends.
