More swimming honours for Isabella

Ilkeston schoolgirl Isobella Parsons-Loades has been in winning form from the start of this year, achieving champion status in several swimming styles.
Over three weekends in January and February, Isabella swam in the Notts ASA County Swimming Championships. To take part in these she had to qualify by meeting certain times throughout the last year at different meets around the country – qualifying for 16 out of 16 events.
Isabella, aged 12 years, competed in 14 events this year (unfortunately had to pull out of the other two due to illness). She won 11 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals and is now the Nottinghamshire girls 12yrs county champion in:
200m Individual Medley
200m Backstroke
100m Breaststroke
400m Freestyle
100m Butterfly
200m Freestyle
800m Freestyle
400m Individual Medley
50m Breaststroke
200m Breaststroke
50m Butterfly
She was second in 100m Backstroke and third in 50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke.
She also raced in the girls 12yrs IM relay team and girls 12yrs freestyle team
And they won the IM another gold medal and County champion relay team title.
Isabella was also presented with a trophy for girls 12yrs ‘Nottscat’ award given to the top girl in each age group.
She swims for Nottingham Leander Swimming Club senior performance squad, training seven days a week, and attends Friesland Secondary School.
