Third placed Rushall have made a strong start forcing an early corner which was cleared. Then Shorrock clears Hiddleston’s bar with a shot.
Opportunity for Ilkeston’s Jordan Hallam but his shot is stopped by Weaver.

Hiddleston rescues Ilkeston with a very good save from Mantom who had broken free. The Rushall man looked likely to score but Hiddleston made a great block.

Wilson crosses, Hallam connects but the ball goes over the bar.
GOAL for Rushall. Hiddleston got his hand to Sam Manton’s low drive but couldn’t keep it out. The visitors are level. 1-1. 60 mins.
Another close call as Rushall take control. Ilkeston are having to defend.

Hiddleston collects the ball under his bar despite Rushall players piling in. The visitors are now looking for a winner. But Ilkeston are doing their best to keep them out.
Rushall’s tall forwards are causing Ilkeston problems but Ilkeston are breaking out occasionally. On one such occasion sub Declan Eratt-Thompson had to be fouled to be stopped. Weaver saves the free kick.
Ilkeston are nearly gifted a goal. A defender gasps as he thinks he’s OG’d but a colleague saves him with a last ditch clearance.
Fenton then goes close with a header. Then a chance for Campbell but he misses.
Leroy Lita is upended – the crowd furious – the ref waves play on.
Amazingly, it’s Ilkeston finishing strongly, but the final whistle goes.
