Needham (16th in league) ended a run of five defeats with a midweek win. Ilkeston (8th) are looking to build on last week’s win against Bedford.

It’s dull and it’s started to rain. Most Ilkeston fans are behind one goal. Needham’s drummer and their fans are behind the other goal.

Good start by Ilkeston. They’re having plenty of the ball in the opening stages.
Finn Delap gets an early yellow card for an over enthusiastic challenge. The Marketmen are looking more settled after a shaky start.
Lita tries a shot and it’s turned aside for a corner. Henri Wilder gets his head to the corner but Garnham saves.

GOAL for Ilkeston. Lita heads in the equaliser. A gift really. Defender and goalie seemed to leave it for each other and Ilkeston’s Leroy Lita was quick to intervene and put the ball in the net. 1-1. 25 mins.
A chance for Jordan Hallam presents itself but the Ilkeston forward sees the alert Garnham make a good save.
Garnham saves again – he’s being kept busy by the Ilkeston front men. Ilkeston should be in front.
The referee has carded someone in the Ilkeston dugout. Not sure what’s happened but he’s spoken sternly to someone, then got a card out of his pocket.
