The Gladstonian microbar in Ilkeston is again supporting the Poppy Appeal and has a striking window display created by Kerry Bloor.
Tracie Smith of the bar in South Street says: “We are offering veterans and serving military personnel a free drink as a thank you for their service.
“We have real ale donated by Bob from RDM Brewing Company and Regimental Fine Ruby Port donated by us.
“On Sunday we will be playing old war music and dressing up in period clothing.”
