Preparing our cenotaph for Remembrance ceremonies. Well done Green Space team, Mrs Wheatley and her gardening buds from Chaucer School.

We’ve planted with the experts, Dawn and Matthew from Erewash Borough Council today to prepare the Cenotaph ready for Armistice Day. This is always such an important date in my gardening calendar, helping the Green Space team with some of my gardening Buds. The children did an amazing job with the planting of the primroses and the tulip bulbs which will appear next springtime. Proud of them all. Thank you as always to Mr Wheatley for coming to help us, and it was lovely to see Councillor James Dawson too.
