Green spaces honoured again

Green message flies in Erewash

Preparations are underway to raise award winning Green Flags at five popular scenic settings in Erewash that have retained the national honour.

The prestigious award will see flags flying high at Ilkeston’s Victoria Park; Straw’s Bridge Local Nature Reserve (LNR), West Hallam; Pioneer Meadows LNR, Kirk Hallam; West Park, Long Eaton; and Forbes Hole LNR in Long Eaton.

Councillor Carol Hart, Leader of Erewash Borough Council, says:
