Ilkeston Town FC part company with manager and assistant. After a poor start to their league campaign (4 draws, 2 defeats) Ilkeston have announced that Martin Carruthers and asst manager Wayne Hallcro are leaving the club.
Current player Jamie Ward, a former player with Derby County and Nottingham Forest, will take interim charge.
Ilkeston won their first game on Saturday beating Matlock Town in the FA Cup. They are currently fourth from the bottom of the Southern League Central Division, having won promotion last season.
