Sadness at theft from school garden

Items have been stolen from the Chaucer Junior School greenhouse over the past week, including personal tools and even some old gardening shoes and bright pink crocs belonging to the Gardening Club leader, Mrs Wheatley.
The school’s ‘World Cup’ trophy which the children loved has also been taken.
“This has really saddened me how people can take from a precious school garden with no thought of how sad it’s going to make people feel.” said Mrs Wheatley. “We had the ‘World Cup’ trophy on our RHS Chatsworth display a few years ago, it meant a lot, the children loved it. And a pair of wooden secateurs my late mum and dad bought me for the school garden has gone, you can’t replace items like that. 😞 Someone must know where they are.”
