What does this mean?
A notice has appeared at bus stops on the TrentBarton No.27 route saying TrentBarton are no longer operating the service from 4th September. Instead it will be operated by Notts & Derby.
The service was recently reduced from half-hourly to hourly, now it looks like it’s going to get worse, because it’s a loss maker.
Why would Notts & Derby want to take on a loss-making service unless they’re going to reduce the service even more?
A lot of people in Larklands, including pensioners and disabled, rely on this bus to take them into town. It would be a shame to see the service become worse or disappear, as people are beginning to fear.
