The Kerry Ledger School of Dance and Performing Arts based on Lord Haddon Road, Ilkeston, recently returned to competition.
They attended Ultimate Victory Dance Championships at the Crescent Theatre in Birmingam on Sunday 20th February.
The school took a troupe of 10-13 year olds who won first place in the Open Category.
Both soloists also took first place, Seraya Truman for Acrobatic Solo and Sophia Lee for Lyrical Solo.
A Jazz duet of Lola Britt and Alice Wdowiak won 1st place and an over 17 years Lyrical duet by Sophie and Megan Lynam gained 2nd place.
It is the first time that the dance school has attended this prestigious competition and they were thrilled to come home with trophies.
Miss Evie portayed her extreme pride in the excellent results and thanked the pupils for their continued hard work.
