Council gardeners, helped by Chaucer School children, have got the cenotaph ready for the upcoming remembrance ceremonies.
This afternoon some of my gardening buds, Mr Wheatley and myself have helped Erewash Borough Council plant Ilkeston’s Cenotaph ready for Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday. This gardening project is always an honour and a privilege to be part of and one of great importance in remembering all those who have lost their lives in all wars.
