A ‘tree-mendous’ offer
Erewash Borough Council’s annual Free Tree event is back for 2021. . . giving Erewash residents the chance to pick up free bush apple and pear trees for their gardens.
The hugely popular
town centre giveaway is organised by the council’s Pride in Erewash campaign and sees stalls set up in both Ilkeston and Long Eaton – with residents of the borough able to claim one free tree per household.This year’s giveaway dates are:
• Long Eaton – High Street on Wednesday 1 December, from 10am
• Ilkeston – Market Place on Thursday 2 December, from 10am
