Kirk Hallam Community Centre has won second prize in the Best Street, Community Area or Friends Group section of the Erewash in Bloom competition.
Since 2018 they have had two 3rd place awards and one 2nd place.
The garden serves two purposes: to provide food for the cafe in the community centre and to provide enjoyment for those who visit the wildlife garden.
Unfortunately, due to Covid the café is currently closed but hopes to reopen soon.
The gardening club meets on a Thursday afternoon between 1 and 3.
