A hooded vandal has been caught on camera as he throws paint stripper over a car.

The man is then seen throwing red paint over the front of a house where the car is parked in Beech Avenue, Sandiacre.

The incident happened at 11.30pm on Sunday August 1. Derbyshire Police released a video of the offence in the hope that people will recognise the offender.

He is white and appears to be wearing a peaked cap under his hood. He is wearing shorts and short socks.

The camera shows him pouring the paint stripper over the car, which is parked off the road. He then returns to hurl paint at the house.
