A Hargreaves Court resident had a day out with a difference on Saturday.
Brenda Green, 84, donned crash helmet and leathers and took to the streets on a state-of-the-art motortrike.
It came about after Brenda talked about ‘the rubbish on TV these days’.
She was recommended to watch some U-tube motortrike videos – and she was hooked!
Erewash Voluntary Service then got in touch with Trevor Whittemore of Ashbourne who agreed to take her for a spin.
Brenda decided to raise money for two charities at the same time – Cancer Research and the RSPCA.
Hargreaves Court publicised what she was doing on their notice board and people began to donate.
