Shareen Shaw: I’ve been raising awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK all this month. I’ve been walking 11,000 steps everyday with our faithful giant Schnoodle “Cooper” and many Ilkeston people have seen, donated and engaged with us on our daily walks (Many thanks!💙)
We are currently standing at an amazing £2,000-plus raised as I do my final day.
Although I cannot change the prognosis of my Dad 💔, my reason for me doing this, I really want to help raise awareness and funds to improve screening and treatment for all our men. Sadly, Prostate Cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed of all cancers in the UK, losing one of our men every 45mins 💔. Together we can change this, and stop it being the 2nd leading cause of death in men.
